The Beginning of the End...

This could be the beginning of end for mobile operators trying to own m-commerce! PayPal has finally waded in to the quagmire of m-commerce (other than their ineffective SMS based payment method - euch!) and provided us with a solution that works for everyone; everyone that is if you happen to live in the US, Canada or the UK. But my averseness to non-global deployments must be put aside for now as what PayPal have done is truly going to have significant impact in the world of mobile.

Naturally the ebays and Pizza Huts of the world will benefit greatly too. Picture yourself riding shotgun on the way home from the movies and ordering a Hawaiian Special on your Nokia which arrives at your doorstep just as you do, all achieved without having to speak to anyone in between a gaming session of bejeweled. Yum!!
